Again this author is capable of so much more. This one was extreme short, with very little character, plot or romance development whatsoever. Aaron is labeled a racist for some stupid youthful prank, which reeks of contrived since it is still following him into adulthood. Emma his fated mate lives one state of and she too comes off as less than the best heroine I have ever read.Over all there is little substance to the story and wide gaps in the information and the romance that could have made this a much better read. I think Ms. Kidd needs to rethink her latest approach to her stories because the last two are making me rethink buying from her again. They need more character development and definitely a little conflict and some hot romantic scenes to bring the reader something they can enjoy and sink into.
I read for escape and to find fun and hot sex in the pages of the stories I read and these two have not done it for me.

Emma learns that love of a mate out weighs the love of the job and living location. Aaron learns that past mistakes may come back to haunt you but it is better to acknowledge them and move on,lessons they learn together.
I enjoyed reading this book 📚, it has great storyline. Can't wait for more from this author.
I like simple themes especially if they involve very little angst so, yeah, I enjoyed this book. However, the proofreading errors were numerous so I'm not sure if I was putting my own spin on the story or not. Maybe, need to check the proof better next time because it was very distracting.
I usually enjoy Lola's stories. Not sure what happened this time? To many miss written sentences. Not able to enjoy reading when I had to reread sentences to figure what he or she meant. This story needs a reediting!
This was not a very good story. The two main characters weren't particularly likable and their relationship was just awkward. The ending is rather abrupt too. Like it would have killed the author to show them getting married instead of stopping as the groom was getting ready to go start the ceremony?!
Lola Kidd writes a great series of hot, sexy shifter love stories. Emma works at a center & teaches Irish dancing. She loves her work but when she meets her soul mate, Aaron who is a lion shifter they must discuss where they are going to live & where Emma will work or star her own dance studio. Houses & cost of living is cheaper in Aaron's hometown then where Emma is living. Emma & Aaron decide that she will move in with him & start their new life together.
Lola Kidd writes just wonderful stories with shifters, fun, happy highs, maybe a bit of danger, and tons of heart! In this one you get a lion shifter and a female human, each lonely and tired of it! L&K Brides to the rescue yet again! Will something from our lions past end this relationship before it can bring them closer? Truly funny, lovely, and heartwarming! I did get a free review copy of this book in exchange for a review, but I also purchased one to support an authors livelihood and my love of reading! Very well worth reading!
