I am so grateful to the person who put an issue of "Time" magazine from the Spring of 2017 in the waiting room of the Ophthalmology office of Kaiser Permanente in Woodland Hills, California. There was an article in that magazine about this book. This was just the thing I was looking for. I wanted to lose weight, but I didn't want to go hungry. Following the advice of this book and eating foods it touts, I have been able to lose weight without going hungry. So far I am losing 1-2 pounds monthly. The book does not discuss calories. I am eating about 2,000 calories daily. I want to lose another ten pounds. Following this book, I KNOW that I will. Also I have not been eating sweets or junk since the middle of Dec., 2017 and I do not miss them.Product details

A well presented review of healthy foods, with ideas for presenting and consuming them.
Was okay, but not really something I didn't already know. Pictures were nice and info was okay.
Excellent book!
A simple, quick-to-read list of fresh produce (in the main) that will make you healthy, happy and satiated. Great fodder if you're trying to figure out what you can throw together for a quick lunch to take to work. Some good recipes, too. To make it more world-relevant, cooking temperatures in Celsius would be a help (and quantities in metric measures).
Great information on foods but the recipes in the book drove rating to 4 stars as there needs too be more and better recipes
Should be in everyone's kitchen for healthy eating suggestions.
A must read for anyone interested in healthy eating. Well written, brief descriptions and nicely illustrated. Even my husband the meat and potatoes man read it.
